RECTOR’S ADDRESS

DELIVERD AT THE 1ST GRADUATION SERVICE OF GROUND OF TRUTH BIBLE INSTITUTE OGBOMOSO SATELITE CAMPUS
                                                                                 December 8, 2007
My Father in the Lord Pastor Dapo Ojo
The Guest speaker,
Distinguished Servant of God,
The Board of studies,
Tutors of G.T.B.I.,
Fellow Labourers,
Member of Old Students,
Graduating Students,
Beloved Brothers and Sisters.

APPRECIATION:
I want to thank the Lord, the father of our Lord Jesus Christ for His mercy upon our lives and this Institute.
Early this year, this Institute started with God in this Ogbomoso Land. There was nothing on ground that could serve as an encouragement unto us except God and His Word. I would like to express my gratitude to the Almighty God who has been keeping this vision alive up till now.

I would like to thank all the good people whom the Lord has given us and who have been supporting us in various ways, God will bless you all. I want to particularly appreciate all the Tutors who laboured tirelessly with me this first Session. I prayer that JEHOVAH will not forget all your labours of love.

This appreciation will not be completed without acknowledging our fathers in the Lord whom the Lord used to lead us to this city. (Prophet M. A. Adewuyi, of Christ Revelation Ministries and Pastor Olaniyi Aremu of chapel of peace church of God. (Ago Alafia)
I want to thank God for your Support, understanding, accommodation, and cooperation. We do not take light of your love and the extension of the hand of fellowship to this institute. On behalf of the Principal of this institute and the entire Board of Studies, I say thank you and God bless you.

I must also appreciate the Pastors of this church THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH AKATA ASSEMBLY who owns the building facilities that we are presently using for this graduation. This is nothing but the Love of God in real demonstration.

I pray that God will work with you in this assignment and increase you on every side in Jesus name.
EXHORTATION
I would like to remind all the graduating students to remember all that I have shared with you especially in this last week. “That the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared unto all men teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lust. We should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age” (Titus 2:11-12 N.K.J.V)  I therefore charge you to deny all ungodliness, either in the Church, at your working place, in your own family especially in the neighbourhood. You will be our product when you obey this with all your heart.

We did not teach you in the classrooms alone, we also made our lives available to you as examples to learn from.
We did this so that you may learn how to conduct yourselves as becometh the Saints of God.

We taught you about Christian home and what heaven requires from us disciples of Jesus. Remember that you cannot accomplish much for God without your spouse.
Remember that your spouse is the residue of your spirit.
The remaining part of you has been deposited in your spouse, therefore, you are incomplete without your spouse.
We have also taught you on how to submit to you leaders as unto the LORD. Remember that a disciple is not above his master yet, it is enough for a disciple to be like his master. We did NOT teach you to rebel against the constituted authority of your various churches, rather, we taught you to obey them that rule over you. You must not break the church of Jesus Christ.

I need to add here that, graduating from a Bible School is not graduating form the Bible neither a license to go and start your own ministry.
Several men and women have died prematurely in ministry because they erroneously thought that because they are Bible Institute graduate, they are qualified to start what they called “their own ministry” Be warned!
Do not disappoint Jesus, do not fail this generation and do not disgrace us.

WHY MONEY IS NOT OUR EMPHASIS AND FOCUS!
A lot of people have wondered greatly why we do not focus on money, either during our graduation services or at the school level.
Dearly beloved brothers and Sisters present, time will fail me to speak freely on various reasons the issue of money has not caught and will not catch our attention in this Institute.
However, I will advance one or two points, which will help our understanding.
When Jesus sent the twelve forth by two and two, the Bible gave this information:

“And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey,
save a staff only; no scrip, no bread, no money in their purse: but be
shod with sandals and not put on two coats” Mk.6:8,9 (KJV)
Jesus specially asked the disciples not to take money in their purses for the journey. Since we therefore know that money was never the emphasis of Jesus, we also refused to make it our emphasis. But He emphasized that they must have a staff with sandals. The staff in the hand of the shepherd is what he uses to direct the sheep; to us this is the word of God! The sandals protect the legs and make a man to travel far. We see the sandals as the preparation of the gospel message, which must take us to the far ends of this earth. We believe that if a man has these two, such cannot be limited.

We noticed again that Judas has the grace to be numbered with the twelve and to obtain part of the ministry with them. To be so numbered is not a small thing. There could be several men and women in the ministry today who may not have obtain any number before they jumped into ministry.

However, these great advantages were wasted in Judas Iscariot the day he wanted his discipleship interpreted in terms of how much money he make from Jesus.
When Jesus sent the apostles to go into the world, He did not give them money, all He gave them was power and Himself. We also believe that with His abiding presence with us, all our needs s hall be met.

Finally brethren, I charge you to preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. But watch then in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

INVITATION:
I will like to use this forum to inform all of you who are willing to be groomed for the LORD to know that our admission forms will soon be available. You can obtain one for yourself or someone needing this kind of training when it is available. The tuition is free! We are waiting to receive you!

CONCLUSION:
We desire your prayers so much for this work and for those who labour in this institute. I commend you into the hands of the one who is able to preserve your spirit, soul and body blameless until that day. We appreciate your coming, patience and gifts, may God remember you for good.

Thank you for listening, God bless you.

RECTOR’S ADDRESS

DELIVERD BY PASTOR MOSES ADELEKE ADENEYE AT THE 3RD GRADUATION & 4TH MATRICULATION SERVICES OF GROUND OF TRUTH BIBLE INSTITUTE, OGBOMOSO SATELITE CAMPUS, OGBOMOSO.
                                                                                 December 5, 2009.
The Guest Speaker,
Distinguished Servants of God,
The Board of studies,
Tutors of G.T.B.I.,
Fellow Labourers,
Members of the Old Students Association,
Graduating Students,
Matriculating Students,
Beloved Brothers and Sisters.

APPRECIATION
My appreciation goes first and foremost to the almighty God, who has been our succour this far. If not for Him, we would not have been able to do anything. God stood true to all the promises He made at the beginning of this journey. May His holy name be praised. Amen.

I specially appreciate all the Tutors of the Institute, who travel every week to take lectures and care for the soul of our students. These men are truly sent of God; their involvement has been with great understanding and has brought great success to this work. God bless you real good.

I must say a big thank you to the fathers in Ogbomoso, in persons of Rev. M.A. Adewuyi, Evang. B. O Aremu and Elder John Ige. They have actually defended the course of this work. God will perfect all that pertains to you.

The old Students have become an encouragement to us, great number of them have not deserted us. Their presence and attention has brought God and this Institute a huge success. May you forever be relevant in the programme of God. Amen.

The Apostolic Church Akata, Ogbomoso has played host to our graduation three times now. You have displayed Bible unity that we long for in the body of Christ. May God continue to move the church forward.

Finally, let me say thank you to the authority of Christ Revelation Church for permitting us to use their auditorium for a monthly night vigil and yearly Covenant Day. God bless you sirs.

OUR GOAL IN THIS LAND
The moment we noticed the readiness of God to bring us to this land, we have trusted Him to bring the need of the land to our understanding. Just like in every other land, God’s instrument in bringing deliverance to any land are men, who possess the word of God and can handle it correctly especially by their lifestyle. The Lord has enlightened our understanding to see the need to intensify our effort in teaching the true undiluted word of God.

A.              We discovered a lot of things that do not agree with the Bible in many churches in this town, since three years ago that God has brought us here. It is important for me to strike it again that you graduating students must not walk in such errors. If God could see Lot in spite of the decadence of Sodom, it means that you can still stand for the truth.
B.               The devil has attacked us, through many threats, hostility and occasionally through motor traffic accidents- but God has kept us above all, we are persuaded He will yet be there for us.
C.               We practically and sincerely covet your prayers. Please, note these areas of prayers attention:
1.             Open of heaven for His word;
2.             Boldness to bring forth God’s word without fear;
3.             God to soften the hearts of the indigenes and settlers in this town;
4.             God to build a permanent campus for us on a two plot of land, which we are even trusting God to balance up the payment;
5.             Journey mercies each time we travel to Ogbomoso and
6.             Finally, that our products in this town will be able to uphold and stand by the truth they have learnt, such that they can labour for revival.

CHARGE TO THE GRADUATING STUDENTS
I charge you not forget the teachings which you have received from us during your stay with us:
1.                 We taught you about your relationship with God, which is above all things. Do not get so busy with the work to the point of neglecting the Owner of the work.
2.                 We taught you also about your home as bedrock for sustainable and healthy ministry, a homeless minister is a lifeless minister!
3.                 We taught you on how to stand for the truth, even when you are opposed or alone.
4.                 We taught you not to disobey the constituted authority over you in your local church.
5.                 We taught you not to respect man and disobey God.

Remember the book of Malachi 2:7 that emphasize the duties of a priest. E.g. “For it is right for the priest's lips to keep knowledge, and for men to be waiting for the law from his mouth: for he is the servant sent from the Lord of armies.” Mal 2:7 (BBE) You must stand in the will of God that we’ve taught you, it is then that people from your church and environment will touch God through your life and teaching. The only mark of a man that is sent from the Lord of host is to possess lips that keep knowledge. Because of this, you must make your lips flow with the knowledge of God, which cannot be except the knowledge of God is in your heart.

I charge you all to be examples of the believers in faith, in love, in purity, steadfastly preaching the same gospel, which the saints of old committed to us as found in the Word of God.

BELOVED OLD STUDENTS
The only way to remain in the truth that you have learned is not to be far from the brethren, especially those through whom you have received the same encounter. It is for this need that we are compelled to inaugurate the Old Students Association.

Therefore, today is witnessing the inauguration of Old Students Association (ALLUMNI) in Ogbomoso land; under the supervision and coordination of Pastor Oyedele Thomas and to be supported by Bro. Kayode Agboola, Bro. Isaac Ayandare Ayanleke  and others.

Therefore, I inaugurate the Old Students Association today 5th December, 2009 in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost.

GENERAL INVITATION AND NOTICES
a.                 Admission form for the Advanced Christian Leadership course (100 level) is already out and the lecture will start on Friday 15th January, 2010.
b.                 Also the admission form for Basic Ministerial Training will be available from 1st Feb. 2010.
You cannot be a correct priest without having the knowledge of God, if you want to serve God in an acceptable way, then come and enroll now.

CONCLUSION
To everyone in attendance; permit me to remind you that Jesus is coming soon. Let us live our lives with the understanding that we have no continuing city here. Beloved brethren and, I charge you to be prepared and God will keep you rapturable. Amen.

Thanks for listening and God bless you. Amen

I and the other officers voted into power directed and controlled the affairs of the students for a good calendar year.

DISCIPLINE; Where there is no Law, there is no sin; because nobody can be accused for any wrong doing. In other to enforce Law and order, we were elected to the different offices of the student union, we have served in this capacity, Little or no lapses were recorded in the area of enforcing discipline among the students.

INTRE-PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP; The student leaders have built a balanced and correct relationship among the students.  We have handle the lives of the students consciously knowing that we shall give account both to the school authority and to God.

We have laid down good examples, sacrifice our interest, forgo opportunities, neglect pleasures, abandon self-glory so that all ands sundry can experience peace.

Sir, because of today we have given our yesterday. We have preserved the lives of the students, given them useful advise for a very good co-existence in this session.

Sir, our welfare officer has performed as a good ambassador. No report of tutors not eating what she had prepared. Thank you for your wonderful work and ministry.

TUTOR’S AND STUDENTS RELATIONSHIP; Familiarity breed contempt’s so to say, but the reverse is the case concerning the tutors and students relationship.
  1.
We all appreciate your care, guidance, advise, rebuke and chastisement in the atmosphere of peace.
I learnt one lesson in associating and relating with tutors.  They have much concern about our souls.  Believers today are too heavenly mindedness.  Jesus will come back tomorrow that should not say we should be irresponsible today as men and women.

Brethren, we should not be too heavenly minded and not earthly useful.  Our tutors have balanced every aspect of man: spiritually, psychologically and physically.  Sir, you have left an indelible mark upon our hearts. I say thank you, God bless and strengthen you the more in Jesus name.

SPIRITUAL CARE;  We care for one another spiritually in this session.  In January we called for 3days night vigil and again we exercise another 3days night vigil in the month of April.  We take our problems to God in prayer, in diverse of ways and God who answered by fire have answered our prayers .

SCHOOL PROPERTIES;  All the school property given to us when we assumed office were properly cared for. We maintained them and those that were damaged were repaired and replaced where need be.

INCOME AND EXPENDICTURE;  The total income for 2005 /2006 academic session from the  students union account is #50,360.00
  1. Money spent for tutors welfare is #31,500.00
  2. Money spent for miscellaneous expenses is #18,780.00
  3. We have a surplus of  #3,000.00 which shall be released to the interim government today

PROGRESSS RECORDED IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR. When God will bless a man, He will offer Himself for hat  very man . We thank God for the little we could do.  Though we could not take care of the tutors as expected, because only God can repay their tireless effort.  The under listed are what we could achieve in this academic year.

Mission work was observed twice,
The first one was carried out at Orisunbare village on 15th – 17th Sept. 2005 the other one was at Sanusi village on 16th – 19th March 2006
The visitation of God was so mightily experienced in this session and on behalf of the students we are presenting this………………… to the school.

APPRECIATION;   I thank all my fathers n the lord Your support , advice and exhortation has made us to be successful today.  Your sensitivity foresight has helped me in particular.
I can not ignore your life style Sir, the Rector of the Institution have always been a good father to the co-ordinator and leaders of this institute, more grace to your elbow, Behind the success of any man is a woman, we appreciate the role of our mummy in the lord has played, her advise and concern has earned this session a laudable success.

We appreciate the love and care of the Principal, Pastor Segun Ariyo, Pastor Olajimi Joseph, Pastor Wale Adeneye, Deacon Moses Otusanya, Pastor Femi Ojo and Bro. Komolafe for watching over our lives physically, psychologically and spiritually, we appreciate your care and love sir.
FINANCIALLY; We should all remember that the end of a thing is far better than the beginning, and anything that have a beginning must definitely have an end.
Let all students know that education is an introduction to learning, you start dieing.

Remember that after today, and next Saturday, we can never again gather together like this .  Some of us may travel far in which seeing ourselves again may not be possible.  Brethren, we part to meet  and meet to part no more, if we don’t meet again, the parting is well made.

Come what happened, stand firm in the truth, which you have received, don’t deviate from them and God shall be with your soul.

Don’t go far from your source, a river that forget its source shall dry.  I am appealing to you that the door of Rector and the tutors are always open for you. Don’t forget  your source and you will never run dry in Jesus name.

Remember that we are not just students but good and strong family, let us continue to hear about each other the good testimonies of ourselves.
God will bless you all in Jesus name, and we shall meet again in that kingdom of Christ in Jesus name.
Remain blessed     Thank you.

RECTORS ADDRESS
DELIVERED BY PAASTOR MOSES ADELEKE ADENEYE AT THE
5TH GRADUATION AND 6TH MATRICULATION SERVICES OF GROUND
OF TRUTH BILE INSTITUTE, OGBOMOSO SATELITE CAMPUS. ON
3RD DEC. 2011

The  Guest  Speaker,
Distinguished Servants of God,
The Board of Studies,
Tutors of  G.T.B.I.,
Fellow Labourers,
Members:  Old Students Association
Graduating Students,
Matriculating Students,
Beloved Brothers and Sisters.

APPRECIATION
My appreciation goes first and foremost to the almighty God who has been our succour this far. It gives me great joy today to look back Six years ago, when this work started as a small mustard seed and to see how far the Lord has taken it now and also to look ahead to where the LORD is taking it, in the future. I must confess to you that the Lord has been our stay; He has been our help, our Rock and fortress.

I sincerely acknowledge God’s mercy and protection over us in these past years. Do I need to count how many times God delivered us from untimely deaths, which motor accidents would have caused, as we travelled to fulfill this divine mandate on our lives, especially as this Ogbomoso Campus demands that we will often be in journey. By the grace of God we can boldly say that Ogbomoso work has come to stay and fire extinguishers will not be able to quench it.

Permit me to also appreciate the Tutors, who have been labouring  selflessly with me both in the classrooms and at the place of prayer,  over this great work in our hands. It is very very obvious that the Lord sent you to be a help in this divine labour and the same God, whom you have served all these years, will not forget your labours of love.

I must say a big thanks to the fathers here in Ogbomoso, in persons of Rev. M. A. Adewuyi, Evangelist B.O. Aremu, and Elder John Ige. May God continue to move the church and God’s work in your hand forward.

How can I forget the old students who have come to see this work as part of them, who, despite the fact that they are no longer our regular students, still find it necessary to be around us, I say God bless you.
Let me finally appreciate the District Pastor, Assembly Pastor and entire members of this church THE APOSTOLIC CHURCH Akata, Ogbomoso for granting us permission to use their facilities this year again, it is our prayer that God will bless you and grant you accommodation in His coming kingdom.

THE REASON HE SENT US
I will like to inform you that the only reason we were sent to this town is to show Jesus to the good people of this great and ancient city. This is what we have been doing not only in the classroom, but with our own lives. In other to fulfill this mandate, we allow our students to be exposed to all the truth we know in the word of God
.
OUR REQUEST FROM YOU PEOPLE OF GOD
We practically and sincerely covet your prayers, please pray for us that Christ may be seen in us the more and that God will open heaven upon us so that we will fulfill our mandate with boldness and without fear.

By the grace of God, we still have other department that we cannot yet implement because we don’t have our own building  facility, therefore we need God to build a permanent campus for us on a two plot of land which God had given to us.

Finally please pray for us that the lives of our students will portrait the Lord Jesus, because we don’t have a means of advertizing this Institute rather than the lives of our students.

CHARGE TO THE GRADUATING STUDENTS
My dearly beloved Student, as you are going, do not forget all you have been taught in the classroom and by our lives, you are our epistles that the people of Ogbomoso  and it’s environs will be reading, please live a life that commensurable  to the ideal of Christ and do not receive the grace of God in vain.

As we lean in 2Cor. 6: 1-4. Do not do anything that will tarnish the image of this great college, and much more than that do not grieve the Spirit of God in you. Always remember that the eyes of God are on you even when we are not there.

We return you to your churches who permit you to come, be a good ambassador of Jesus and of this Institute there, graduating from Bible Institution in not the same with graduating from Bible, do not scatter the church of God. So as you are going let your lips flow with the knowledge of God.

IN CONCLUSION
Finally brethren, do you know that the Admission Forms are still available? You can enroll today and take off the fear of ignorance from your life and face the work God has called you into with an understanding that comes from seasoned training, which is available for you at Ground of Truth Bible Institute.

To you that are still enjoying sin, that enjoyment will soon come to end and you will face the consequence in hell fire, but you can obtain the unlimited grace today by given your life to Jesus today, because all signs show that Jesus will soon come back.
Thank you for listening and God bless you all. (Amen)

APPRECIATION
My appreciation goes first and foremost to the almighty God, who has been our succour this far. If not for Him, we would not have been able to do anything. God stood true to all the promises He made at the beginning of this journey. May His holy name be praised. Amen.

I would like to thank all the good people whom the Lord has given us and who have been supporting us in various ways, may the Lord  bless you all.

I specially appreciate all the Tutors of the Institute, Tutors who laboured tirelessly with me this Session, they travelled almost every week to our Satellite Campus in Ogbomoso to take lectures and care for the souls of our students. These men are truly sent of God; their involvement has been with great understanding and has brought great success to this work. God bless you real good.

I want to particularly appreciate all the wives and the children of our Tutors, beginning with my wife, Sister Esther Oluwatoyin Adeneye. These women are the epitome of the virtuous women we read and studied in the Bible,  on behave of this Institute, we say a big thank  you and  I pray that JEHOVAH will not forget all your labours of love.

I must also appreciate the Pastors and all the members of this Church, who owns the building facilities that we are presently using for this graduation. This is nothing but the love of God in real demonstration, I pray that the Lord God will continue to work with you in this assignment , establish and increase you on every side in Jesus’ name.
This appreciation will not be completed without acknowledging all the Pastors over the Churches where we sent our Diploma students  for their mandated Ministerial Attachment, you have actually worked with God. Our prayer is that you will not labour in vain in Jesus’ name.

How can I forget the brethren who do follow us to Mission Outreaches, and that do support us financially; people of God from Highways Sanctuary, SAFINGOD, Medical Lab Department of Ogun State College of Health and Technology Ijebu Ilese led by Bro. Rotimi Sowemimo, Saved Soul Bible Church, our Bro. Timothy Idowu, Mathew Olatunde and host of others that will be too many for me to mention. Finally, let me say thank you to the outgoing Student Union Executives, they have brought new light to our campus site at Aba Ode as GOD helped them to execute the plan survey this year. May you forever be relevant in the programme of God. Amen.

THE JORNEY SO FAR
This work started sixteen years ago with God alone. The future appeared  as though  in a total darkness, there was nothing on ground that could serve as an encouragement to move on, but thank God for good brethren who  identified the mind of God in the mist of the confusion.

The moment we noticed the readiness of God to use us for the revival of the Church, we deny and sacrifice our comfort and  right, at the altar of becoming like Jesus and showing Biblical pattern of ministry to the church. We have the understanding that God’s instrument in bringing deliverance to any land are men, who possess the word of God and can handle it correctly, especially by their lifestyle.

The Lord has enlightened our understanding to see the need to intensify our effort in teaching the true and undiluted word of God. Therefore, we have resolved in our hearts to pour all our lives into this assignment while it is day, because night will soon come when no one will be able to work.

CHARGE TO THE GRADUATING STUDENTS
I charge you not forget the teachings which you have received from us during your stay with us:

1.                 We taught you about your relationship with God, which is above all things. Do not get too busy with the work to the point of neglecting the Owner of the work.

2.                 We taught you also about your home as the bedrock for sustainable and healthy ministry; a homeless minister is a lifeless minister!

3.                 We taught you on how to stand for the truth, even when you are being persecuted,  deserted and left  alone.

4.                 We taught you not to disobey the constituted authority over you in your local  Churches.

5.                 We taught you not to respect man to the essence of disobeying God.

6.         It is expedient for us to release you  to your Churches, start to labour and show forth the life and teachings of Jesus Christ you have learned, so, this is what we have simply come here to do.

Remember the children of Rechab, they remembered the last words of their father and they did not look at the greatness and heavy anointing of  Prophet Jeremiah.

The book of Malachi 2:7 emphasizes the duties of a priest. e.g. “For it is right for the priest's lips to keep knowledge, and for men to be waiting for the law from his mouth: for he is the servant sent from the Lord of armies.” Mal. 2:7 (BBE) You must stand in the will of God that we’ve taught you, it is then that the people from your church and environment will touch God through your life and teaching.

The only mark of a man that is sent from the Lord of host is to possess lips that keep knowledge. Because of this, you must make your lips flow with the knowledge of God, which cannot be, except the knowledge of God is in your heart.

I charge you all to be examples of the believers in faith, in love, in purity, steadfastly preaching the same gospel, which the saints of old committed to us as found in the Word of God.

BELOVED OLD STUDENTS
The only way to remain in the truth that you have learned is to come close to the brethren, especially with those  you have received the same encounter. We want to be seeing you during our mission out-reaches and other programmes. We have established Old Students Retreat in Ogbomoso, our Satellite Campus. The meeting  holds once  every year. I think you can also borrow a leaf from this idea.

GENERAL INVITATION AND NOTICES

a.                 Admission form for the Advanced Christian Leadership course (100 level) and Christ Armour Bearing (Deliverance) are already available and the lecture will start on next week Saturday, 12th May 2012, by the grace of God.
b.                 Also, the admission form for Basic Ministerial Training programme will be available from 1st of August 2012.

You cannot be a correct priest without having the knowledge of God, if you want to serve God in an acceptable way, then come and enrol now.

CONCLUSION
To everyone in attendance; permit me to remind you that Jesus is coming soon and we must do the work of Him that sent us while it is yet day, for night cometh when nobody will be able to work. Do not forget that you cannot remain the same forever, you are growing older every day and there yet remains land before you that are still unconquered,

I therefore charge you to lift up your eyes and see that the field is white and ripe for harvest, whether you like it or not, night will come and you will not be able to work again. God will keep you fit for the rapture. Amen.

Thanks for listening and God bless you. Amen
