AKANRAN MISSION OUTREACH REPORT
We give thanks to the Almighty God for the Success recorded in the Akanran Mission outreach. The outreach was held between Wednesdays 17th to 21st of March 2010. Despite the threat within and without the outreach turned out successfully.
About 37 current students took part in the outreach, about 6 students from Ogbomoso Satellite Campus and many Old students and other brethren from other churches around. Five tutors were around to supervise the programme.
FINANCE:-
We bless the name of God for His faithfulness in providing funds to run the programme. Apart from the money raised from the students levy, God also used some Children of God and churches who gave both material and financial support to the programme.

ASSESSMENT
1. The turn-out was not as encouraging as expected.
2. The CAN members were very supportive.
3. Crusade location was not favourable enough for a good turn-out.
4. Many souls were won for God and they were handed over to the leaders of the churches in the town.
5. No casualty or failure whatsoever was recorded.
RECOMMENDATION
In view of these assertions, we humbly recommend that lamp stand should be constructed for the halogens. In subsequent outreaches, plans should be made ahead to source for more supports since it is clear from this report that money raised from students cannot be sufficient to solely rely upon.
Old students of the school should be carried along in subsequent planning of mission outreach.
Conclusion:- we pray that Almighty God will continue to strengthen the school and will take her to her promise land. Amen.

PREPARATIONS
Before the commencement of the outreach, the Institute delegates led by the School Rector, in person of Pastor Moses Adeleke Adencyc and Pastor Joseph Qlajimi met with the C.A.N leader in the village on two different occasions for adequate preparations.
Some of the issues raised and put in place include:
1. Clearance of the playing filed for the crusade and befitting the location for the clinic.
2. Accommodation for the brethren – where to sleep
3. Hand bills to be made available (1,000 copies to be made)
To God be the glory for the issues raised here were adequately prepared.
THE OUTREACH PERIOD: 12th – 14th August 2010
On Wednesday 11th August 2010, four brothers left for Orisumibare village at about 10.00am. Four other brethren (including two sisters) led by the Rector joined them to effectively provide a conducive atmosphere for the other brethren.
On Thursday 12th August 2010 the other brethren arrived with full enthusiasm to work for the Lord. On that particular day, there was a heavy downpour of ran. The brethren were soaked to their pants and still they were undaunted for as work continued.
On the 1st day the crusade suffered a setback of crowd due to the downpour though there was an opening message.
To God be the glory for on the other days the climate was favorable. There was large turn-up of people around Orisunmibare village. Souls won to the Kingdom were handed over to the Ministers of God living at Orisunmibare.
Sincere appreciation to all our lectures that were in attendance for their brotherly love and concern. Special greetings to the medical team from Ijebu-Ode under the leadership of our beloved brother Rotimi Sowemimo.
ATTENDANCE: About 80 brethren participated in the outreach.
The congregational attendance on the average was about 250 people including children.
FINANCE: The outreach was financed by the students’ populace of the Institute, and some students and brethren from other churches.
