Introduction: It has been the principle of God to always use Human being for His work on earth, however He has His own standard in which any man that God shows interest in must have. But wherever those that God shows interest in refused to meet up to the standard, God considers Himself to have no representative in that generation.

THE NECESSITY OF CONVERSION
THE ORIGIN OF SIN
Introduction: The word conversion mean to change something from what it uses to be to what we want it to be. This word “Conversion” became necessary for all human beings as a result of sin that enter to the world through Adam.

Teach the God’s instruction in Gen.2: 15-17
Discuss the implication of giving a chance to the devil to have a talk with your heart (Gen. 3:1-5)

THE NECESSITY OF CONVERSION
BORN AGAIN
Introduction: In as much as man had been captured by Satan, who has changed the nature of man to his own (Mr. I ) there is a need for the changing of our nature, and this can only happen by new birth. Thank God that Jesus has used his blood to redeem us from our first Master (Satan).
THE NEW BIRTH (John 3:1-5)
Teach on the life of Nicodemus as Pharisee who is not born again (John 3:1-2)
Discuss the meaning of the word “Born again” John 3:3 and use Nebuchadnezzar as a case study Dan.4: 31-34. Also look at the word “he cannot see the kingdom of God”.
Discuss how can a man be born again? and the meaning of water and the Spirit John 3:4-5.
Conclusion: God has done his part to give us His Son; Jesus also has concluded his own part by his death on the cross. It is now your own turn to repent and give your life to him by accepts him as your personal Lord and Saviour. God will help you to become born again. Let us pray.

THE NECESSITY OF CONVERSION
FLESH AND SPIRIT
Introduction: There is constant war between flesh and Spirit from the ages and our heart is their battle filed (Gal.5: 17). Simply because flesh was the first occupier of our life, that is why we call him “the old man” [icor15; 46-49]. This flesh is the inner controller and dictator of our lives, he tells you what to do and what not to do. This natural life is the one behind all your bad life. But flesh must die in us so that the Spirit may take over in our life.
FLESH AND SPIRIT BY BIRTH (John 3; 6-7)
There is no amount of pleading, promising, teaching and exposition giving to the one of the flesh, he will still remain of the flesh, and you cannot live beyond your inner controller.
Discuss the works of the flesh in Gal 5; 19-21
Discuss the way out of the “ Old man” or flesh from Rom6; 7,11-14
Conclusion: Truly we need to be converted, repentance alone is not enough Act 3; 19 if you are child of God, you must possess the nature of God, a kind of nature that know no sin. May the Lord help you to have it let us pray.

THE NECESSITY OF CONVERSION
NEW HEART
Introduction: Our heart is the container of the new nature, as we’ve prayed to God to change our nature; we need also to cry to God for our heart. (Matt. 9:17) here we noticed that God has started a new thing in our life, it will not be correct to put this new nature inside old heart. Do you know that old nature has some of his load left behind in the heart? Therefore, we need a new heart.

Discuss the condition of the heart before conversion in; Jer.17: 9 and Gen.6: 5-6.
OUR NEW HEART
Discuss the meaning of being in Christ (2Cor.5: 17) and explain Col.3: 1-3
When you have a new heart, you will have a new conscience, for conscience is the inner police that will not allow you to sin, he will strike your heart and you will loose your peace whenever you do anything wrong, this is another way to know that you are a child of God.

Conclusion: The expectation of God is that we should continue in holy life, do not be entangled with the things of this world; also count yourself as dead to sin so as to live a holy life.

WHAT IS PRAYER?
Introduction: God made man, not to be independent, but to depend on Him alone.
God made us to live together as one family with Him. His desire is that we have communion together on a regular basis whereby we can express our feelings to Him. But how do we express our feeling to this invisible God?
This is the reason God made room for prayer.
WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is communicating with God. Pouring out our mind before the Lord, telling Him about our need Ps.62: 8.
Communication can be verbal or non-verbal, in other word, prayer can be express by the word of our mouth and it can be through our action. Let us study the case of Hagar and her son also the case of Hannah, Gen. 21:14-17, 1Sam.1: 10-15
Conclusion: We can liken prayer to a believer as a pillar that held a house. He who kneels before God will stand in any situation. For no man is grater than his prayer life. Let us pray.

PATTERN OF JESUS’ PRAYER
Introduction: We will be praying in error, until we have studied the pattern of Jesus ‘ prayer life. Jesus is our perfect example, what ever we cannot find in him, do not let us practise it.
TEACH US HOW TO PRAY [LUKE 11; 1]
This is the cry of the disciple in Jesus‘ day “teach us Lord to pray” for it is only a heart that is ready to be taught that can pray.
Discuss this, “He was praying in a certain place” Lk.11: 1
THE MODEL OF PRAYER LK11; 2-4
From verses 2-4 we will see the model of prayer there e.g.
1 “Our father in heaven Hallowed be your name” We should know that God is our father, that He dwell in heaven and His name must always be reverence and honored by praises.
2 “Your kingdom come” The expansion of the work of God on earth.
3 “Your will be done on earth” Our own life must do all the will of God.
4 “Give us day by day our daily bread” That is about our needs
5 “Forgive us our sins” That talks about repentance and forgiveness of sin.
6 “Do not lead us into temptation” This is about protection from sin.
7 “Deliver us from the evil one” This talks about spiritual warfare.
Conclusion: A Christian can not do without prayer, do you pray at home, before doing anything, eating, sleeping, going out in the morning? E.t.c. start it, and then let your parent know that it is compulsory. Let us pray.

BELIEVER’S PRAYER LIFE
WHY SHOULD WE PRAY?
Introduction: Last week Holy Spirit was dealing with us on the meaning of prayer, but we shall further the subject this week, by considering why we should pray. Only a fool will do something without any reason. There is no sensible man that will do a thing without a reason. Even God never embark on a project without a substantial reason. Isa. 45:18
WHY SHOULD WE PRAY
There are several reasons why we pray, e.g. we can pray to worship and have fellowship with God also we can pray to confess our sins, but in this study we are dealing primarily with praying to receive our needs for daily living. Let us consider these scripture below.
Philip. 4:19 God is a manufacturer & supplier; we are the receiver and consumer, therefore go to Him to collect your need.
Jn. 3:27. What God did not give to you, no man can give it to you. Therefore ask God not man.
Matt. 7:7-11. He is faithful to his words.
Conclusion: By faith we reach out in our prayer to receive what we need, and we thereby create the reality of it in our life. Let us pray.

THE RESULT OF PRAYER IN A CHRISTIAN LIFE
Introduction: Having studied what prayer is and the pattern of Jesus ‘prayer, we need to go further to look at the result of prayer .Men of old prayed, and got the result, that is an anchor for us to pray also, There are three ways by which God do answer prayer e.g;;
1. Automatic answer 2. Wait, I am coming 3. No I am not ready to do it’ however its still the answer for our God is not deaf, only that we need to be patient after our prayer to hear which one will God says.

HINDRANCE TO PRAYER
Introduction: Among several generations that have live on earth, this generation has been the most praying generation. But among the generation that have witness the result and the power of prayer this generation is the least. Why? Some of the factors were discuss below.
We ask with selfish motives. James 4:3.
We ask with unconfess sin. Ps.66: 18, Isa.59:1-2
We are deaf to the cry of the poor Pro.21: 13
We are disobedient to the commandment of God. Pro.28: 9
We have an unforgiving spirit. Matt.5: 22-24, Matt6: 12-15
We lack faith. Heb.11: 6, Jam.1:6
We keep idols in our heart. Eze.14:1-3
We have turmoil in our home 1Pt.3: 7 1Tim. 2: 8
Anxiety in our heart. Phil. 4: 6
Conclusion: - Prayer without an answer is amount to waste of time. When did you receive answer to your prayer last? Check your life.

WRONG DRESSING
Introduction: Clothe was made to cover our nakedness. The way you dress you will be addressed. Pollution is the result of all wrong dressing. It lures, seduce and distract people in the church. Today’s believers and unbelievers are the same. 2Cor. 6; 14-18. When the eye was open man put on wrong dressing that does not cover their nakedness. Gen. 3;7.
Man should not put on woman clothe Deut. 22;5. Boy putting on an earring.
Fashion of our days, style and system of dressing promote immorality. Boys putting on trousers in half of their bottom, fly up their polo and wear very tight shirt that show the shape of their body. Ladies wearing transparent dresses, hot skirt, high jumper, painting and fixing nails, lipsticks. Ladies wearing clothe that show half of their breast. “Be ye not of unequally yoke with unbeliever” 1Pet.3;3-4
CONCLUSION; The state of your heart can be vividly known by the kind of clothe you wear. Strong message is communicated through dressing. So clothe gives you another name.

EVIL DESIRE
When we are talking about desire it means having strong sexual attraction, long for, wish, have a desire for, request. It is not evil to desire for one thing or the other, but if your strong drive can make you to fight, tell lies, commit immorality and make you to be jealous and sin against your fellow citizen if is evil desire.

HOW EVIL DESIRE OPERATES
This evil desire operates through lust 1Jhn. 2: 15-17 lust lure individual to temptation. What is lust when something or someone stir up our imaginative mind to forcefully accrue what God has not programme for us or what God programme for us but seeking for it before its time. James 1: 13-16

INTRODUCTION: Music is the combination of sound that makes sense. Lucifer is one of Arch Angel in heaven. He (Lucifer) was in charge of worshipping God. Ezek. 28:13-15 when he fell music become polluted. The first instrument of music is our own life.
KINDS OF MUSIC
1 Babylonia music
2. Zion music
Babylonia Music: Babylonia comes from the word Babel which means rebel. Any song or music that does not promote holiness is rebelling against God. Israel rebelled when Moses tarried long on the mountain for forty days. Exodus 32: 1-6
The three Hebrews were commanded to bow for Nebuchadnezzar’s image, Dan. 3: 8-12 every wrong music have an evil image behind it. The kinds of dress it demands, system of dancing step, where and when such music is played Num. 25: 1-3 Music has a strong influence over the heart. The spirit of the instrument determines the lifestyle of the hearer
Zion Music: Zion music is a song that we sing with instrument in the house of God to the Lord alone in holiness and reverence. Any one that will sing and play instrument must be born again and live a Holy life 2Chr. 20:14-22
In Conclusion, song determines whom we worship. Beware of wrong music it will connect you to the Devil. Let us pray.

GENUINE REPENTANCE
INTRODUCTION: There are many omissions in today’s church, which many of our men of God may not take note because the church is like what they want it to be, though is not what God want it to be. If care is not taking, we will produce a generation that will know noting about God. Jug. 2: 10.
Repentance is the basic foundation that anybody that is going to the kingdom of God should experience.
This is the entrance to correct church. Church are the people that have been called out of the world, those that has been redeemed, washed by the blood of Christ and forgiven of their sins repentance allow this experience but is omitted in the church.

INTRODUCTION: In today’s church we turn God to a killer and not a deliverer. We fought against flesh and blood using the strength of the flesh to combat spiritual battle.

INTRODUCTION: Bible is the instructor and tutor that guide us on how we should pray correctly Ps. 138:2 Prayer is telling God to do what He has promised to do and through which God works out His purpose in our lives. Daniel 9:2-4 It takes a correct heart to pray a correct prayer. Ps. 66:18; Ps. 51:17

SILENT GIVING (PART 1)
INTRODUTION: Much noise is made about the issue of giving; divers’ kind of systems are applied in which the leaders turn the stones to become bread. Prov. 3:9-10 God can support His work alone without our own self effort, so, many errors are observed today as many of God thought they can use their wisdom to support the work of God. Let us consider some of these errors:
1. Beggar’s bag Matt. 10: 10 e.g. Sharing of envelopes printing of receipt or ticket
2. Fund raising. Matt. 10:9
3. Selling God’s grace like; Anointing Oil, Pure water, Handkerchief e.t.c. Exo 30: 31-33, Matt. 4:3-4
This entire pattern, ridicule men of God and that make so many things that should have brought joy and glory to the body of Christ to suffer lose of divine peace and provision.
In Conclusion: Until we follow God’s pattern. The blessing of giving will not be experienced in the church. Let us pray.

SILENT GIVING (PART 2)
INTRODUCTION: God is the greatest giver; He gave us His only begotten Son without noise, trumpet or any publicity. Matt. 6: 1-4 It takes a spiritual matured Christian to give to meet divine need. Gift of salvation is free, but somebody paid for it. 11Sam. 24: 24
WHY GIVING IS IMPORTANT
1. It is a means of being blessed. Eccl. 11:1-2
2. It is the only way God meets with His needs. 1Kings 17:7-9; Luk. 22:8-13
3. The Bible commanded it. Deut. 15:10-11; Luke 6:38
CORRECT WAY OF GIVING
1. Every giving is to the Lord. Matt 6:1-4; Pro. 19:17
2. Holy Spirit must lead us before we give or we must have burden for it. Exo.35:29
3. Is to take care of one another’s needs. Gal. 6:6-10
In Conclusion: Phil. 4:19 should not be quoted by somebody that did not give to meet the Lord’s need or else one will become 419. What did you have in your house? Be ready to give as the Holy Spirit leads you. Let us pray.
THE EXPECTATION OF GOD OVER CHILDREN
INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION: Children are God’s heritage; we are like arrow in the hand of all mighty, Ps. 127: 3-5
Instrument of war is to give victory to the warrior, likewise we are an instrument in the hand of God, and so we should not bring shame to Him.
Your life style should bear fruit and not to drag the name of the Lord in the mud. Rom. 2: 24
6 And He told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it and found none. 7 He told the vineyard worker, ‘Listen, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it even waste the soil?’ 8 “But he replied to him, ‘Sir, leave it this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. 9 Perhaps it will bear fruit next year, but if not, you can cut it down.’ ” Luke 13:6-9 (HCSB)

THE EXPECTATION OF GOD OVER CHILDREN
BE BORN AGAIN
Through Adam, all have inherited sin: Rom 5:17-19. It is not sin that we committed that makes us a sinner, but the root of sin is in us. Sin has been planted in us as a seed through disobedient of our fore-father, Adam. The nature of sin was formed in us through conception and we are born as a sinner. Ps 51:5. No training that can turn goat to sheep. God alone can let light shine again into our heart. 11Cor. 4:6. The atonement of Jesus on the cross saves sinners from condemnation of sin. We can become righteous again if we come to God through faith in Christ atonement.

Conclusion: Jesus saves, come to god through Him for salvation. Let us pray

THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FLESH
INTRDUCTION: In every natural human being, the flesh is present whether it manifests or not.
When ever it manifests, it only helps us to recognize its presence. It controls lustful desire and make sure that everything is to its own profit and glory. The gods of this world is working in the heat of the disobedient.Eph.2:2.. The lust of the flesh the ambition to buy everything that appeals to you, and the pride that comes from wealth and importance. You can permit the flesh to rule you when you refuse to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Gal.5:19-21
IN CONCLUTION: If you don’t deal with the flesh it will deal with you. The only way to have victory over the flesh is to crucify it on the cross. Let us pray.

THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FLESH (11)
Introduction: We must learn how the flesh function, those things that promotes the flesh; things that make it rule and control us. We can discover its stubbornness and see its craftiness, how it cunningly lures us in to sin. For this reason we shall breakdown the manifestation of the flesh so that we can receive help of the Lord to handle this flesh and overcome it, we can serve God correctly without compromising our stand. This happened when we are not ignorant of devil’s devices. So the works of the flesh is plain, clear and be noticed. Hosea 4:6
Uncleanness, Lev. 18:6-30. Consequence is death

Lascivious:-feeling or showing sexual desire, falling in love, having our heart on our sleeve.
Example, Reuben. Gen 35:22-49:3-4. Samson. Judges.16:1-5, 21.
In conclusion: When this manifest in our lives it leads to death; separation from God and the consequence of it is Spiritual death. So flee youthful lust. Let us pray.

THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FLESH (111)
INTRODUCTION: We are in 20th century and the flesh manifested in a civilized way. It is necessary that we should consider Idolatry and witchcrafts closely in connection with this time and see the advancement of flesh as he operates in our society most especially in Christian life. It is my earnest prayer that God will enlighten us in Jesus name. Amen.

What is Idolatry? Anything that take the place of God in our heart, or love more than God. We have Idol we can see and the one that is in the heart. Luke. 4:5-8; Ezek.14:1-4.
Examples: Acan, Josh.7:20-21 King Amaziah 11Chro.25:24-26. Matt.6:24.
Consequence of Idolatry is death.
WITCHCRAFT: A witch is somebody that uses evil power to torment, afflict or bewitch. Gal.3:1. 1Sam.28:7-19. To make others subject by force or threaten. Suffer not a witch to live.
INCONCLUSION: Idolatry and witchcrafts reduce personality. It is only God that we must serve and worship.
Let us pray.

THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FLESH (1V}
INTRODUCTION: When you have bad feeling against your friend is an indication of the works of the flesh. Hatred is a very strong feeling of dislike for somebody or something. Is the foundation or source that makes people to fight when it grows up and it is expressed in action. Pro 29: 11. Hatred is an act of fighting people in your mind and the sighs you can notice in your action are: malice stubborn, hatred, rebellion and slander etc. hatred and fighting goes together when hatred grow beyond control, it makes one to be a murderer. 1JH 3: 15 – 19
HOW HATRED MANIFESTS
1. When our works is rejected Gen 4: 3 – 8.
2. When younger is promoted above the elder. Gen 37: 3- 12.
3. When you command respect. Esther 3: 1-7.
How we can overcome hatred Matt 5: 43- 48.
FIGHTING:
Contention, anger, and wrath promote and permit fight against our fellow. The essence of fight is to defeat another we should fight but not with physical weapon and we are not contending with flesh and blood. 2Cor 10: 3-6, Eph 6: 10-14. FLESH AND SPIRIT
Introduction: There is constant war between flesh and Spirit from the ages and our heart is their battle filed (Gal.5: 17). Simply because flesh was the first occupier of our life, that is why we call him “the old man” [icor15; 46-49]. This flesh is the inner controller and dictator of our lives, he tells you what to do and what not to do. This natural life is the one behind all your bad life. But flesh must die in us so that the Spirit may take over in our life.
FLESH AND SPIRIT BY BIRTH (John 3; 6-7)
There is no amount of pleading, promising, teaching and exposition giving to the one of the flesh, he will still remain of the flesh, and you cannot live beyond your inner controller.

Introduction: Our heart is the container of the new nature, as we’ve prayed to God to change our nature; we need also to cry to God for our heart. Do you know that old nature has some of his load left behind in the heart? Therefore, we need a new heart.

Introduction: God made man, not to be independent, but to depend on Him alone.
God made us to live together as one family with Him. His desire is that we have communion together on a regular basis whereby we can express our feelings to Him. But how do we express our feeling to this invisible God?
This is the reason God made room for prayer.
WHAT IS PRAYER?
Prayer is communicating with God. Pouring out our mind before the Lord, telling Him about our need Ps.62: 8.
Communication can be verbal or non-verbal, in other word, prayer can be express by the word of our mouth and it can be through our action. Let us study the case of Hagar and her son also the case of Hannah, Gen. 21:14-17, 1Sam.1: 10-15
Conclusion: We can liken prayer to a believer as a pillar that held a house. He who kneels before God will stand in any situation. For no man is grater than his prayer life. Let us pray.

Introduction: Last week Holy Spirit was dealing with us on the meaning of prayer, but we shall further the subject this week, by considering why we should pray. Jn. 3:27. What God did not give to you, no man can give it to you. Therefore ask God not man.
Matt. 7:7-11. He is faithful to his words.
Conclusion: By faith we reach out in our prayer to receive what we need, and we thereby create the reality of it in our life. Let us pray.

Introduction: Among several generations that have live on earth, this generation has been the most praying generation. But among the generation that have witness the result and the power of prayer this generation is the least. Why? Some of the factors were discuss below.

Introduction: Clothe was made to cover our nakedness. The way you dress you will be addressed. Pollution is the result of all wrong dressing. It lures, seduce and distract people in the church. Today’s believers and unbelievers are the same. 2Cor. 6; 14-18. When the eye was open man put on wrong dressing that does not cover their nakedness. Gen. 3;7.
Man should not put on woman clothe Deut. 22;5. Boy putting on an earring.
Fashion of our days, style and system of dressing promote immorality. Boys putting on trousers in half of their bottom, fly up their polo and wear very tight shirt that show the shape of their body. Ladies wearing transparent dresses, hot skirt, high jumper, painting and fixing nails, lipsticks. Ladies wearing clothe that show half of their breast. “Be ye not of unequally yoke with unbeliever” 1Pet.3;3-4
CONCLUSION; The state of your heart can be vividly known by the kind of clothe you wear. Strong message is communicated through dressing. So clothe gives you another name.

When we are talking about desire it means having strong sexual attraction, long for, wish, have a desire for, request. Babylonia Music: Babylonia comes from the word Babel which means rebel. Any song or music that does not promote holiness is rebelling against God. Israel rebelled when Moses tarried long on the mountain for forty days. Exodus 32: 1-6
The three Hebrews were commanded to bow for Nebuchadnezzar’s image, Dan. 3: 8-12 every wrong music have an evil image behind it. The kinds of dress it demands, system of dancing step, where and when such music is played Num. 25: 1-3 Music has a strong influence over the heart. The spirit of the instrument determines the lifestyle of the hearer
Zion Music: Zion music is a song that we sing with instrument in the house of God to the Lord alone in holiness and reverence. Any one that will sing and play instrument must be born again and live a Holy life 2Chr. 20:14-22

GENUINE REPENTANCE
INTRODUCTION: There are many omissions in today’s church, which many of our men of God may not take note because the church is like what they want it to be, though is not what God want it to be. If care is not taking, we will produce a generation that will know noting about God. Jug. 2: 10.
Repentance is the basic foundation that anybody that is going to the kingdom of God should experience.
This is the entrance to correct church. Church are the people that have been called out of the world, those that has been redeemed, washed by the blood of Christ and forgiven of their sins repentance allow this experience but is omitted in the church.

INTRODUTION: Much noise is made about the issue of giving; divers’ kind of systems are applied in which the leaders turn the stones to become bread. Prov. 3:9-10 God can support His work alone without our own self effort, so, many errors are observed today as many of God thought they can use their wisdom to support the work of God. Let us consider some of these errors:
1. Beggar’s bag Matt. 10: 10 e.g. Sharing of envelopes printing of receipt or ticket

INTRODUCTION: Children are God’s heritage; we are like arrow in the hand of all mighty, Ps. 127: 3-5
Instrument of war is to give victory to the warrior, likewise we are an instrument in the hand of God, and so we should not bring shame to Him.
Your life style should bear fruit and not to drag the name of the Lord in the mud. Rom. 2: 24
6 And He told this parable: “A man had a fig tree that was planted in his vineyard. He came looking for fruit on it and found none. 7 He told the vineyard worker, ‘Listen, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree and haven’t found any. Cut it down! Why should it even waste the soil?’ 8 “But he replied to him, ‘Sir, leave it this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. 9 Perhaps it will bear fruit next year, but if not, you can cut it down.’ ” Luke 13:6-9 (HCSB)

THE EXPECTATION OF GOD OVER CHILDREN
BE BORN AGAIN
Through Adam, all have inherited sin: Rom 5:17-19. It is not sin that we committed that makes us a sinner, but the root of sin is in us. Sin has been planted in us as a seed through disobedient of our fore-father, Adam. The nature of sin was formed in us through conception and we are born as a sinner. Ps 51:5. No training that can turn goat to sheep. God alone can let light shine again into our heart. 11Cor. 4:6. The atonement of Jesus on the cross saves sinners from condemnation of sin. We can become righteous again if we come to God through faith in Christ atonement.

INTRDUCTION: In every natural human being, the flesh is present whether it manifests or not.
When ever it manifests, it only helps us to recognize its presence. It controls lustful desire and make sure that everything is to its own profit and glory. The gods of this world is working in the heat of the disobedient.Eph.2:2.. The lust of the flesh the ambition to buy everything that appeals to you, and the pride that comes from wealth and importance. You can permit the flesh to rule you when you refuse to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Gal.5:19-21
IN CONCLUTION: If you don’t deal with the flesh it will deal with you. The only way to have victory over the flesh is to crucify it on the cross. Let us pray.

THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FLESH (11)
Introduction: We must learn how the flesh function, those things that promotes the flesh; things that make it rule and control us. We can discover its stubbornness and see its craftiness, how it cunningly lures us in to sin. For this reason we shall breakdown the manifestation of the flesh so that we can receive help of the Lord to handle this flesh and overcome it, we can serve God correctly without compromising our stand. This happened when we are not ignorant of devil’s devices. So the works of the flesh is plain, clear and be noticed. Hosea 4:6
Uncleanness, Lev. 18:6-30. Consequence is death

Lascivious:-feeling or showing sexual desire, falling in love, having our heart on our sleeve.

In conclusion: When this manifest in our lives it leads to death; separation from God and the consequence of it is Spiritual death. So flee youthful lust. Let us pray.

INTRODUCTION: We are in 20th century and the flesh manifested in a civilized way. It is necessary that we should consider Idolatry and witchcrafts closely in connection with this time and see the advancement of flesh as he operates in our society most especially in Christian life. It is my earnest prayer that God will enlighten us in Jesus name. Amen.

What is Idolatry? Anything that take the place of God in our heart, or love more than God. We have Idol we can see and the one that is in the heart. Luke. 4:5-8; Ezek.14:1-4.

Consequence of Idolatry is death.
WITCHCRAFT: A witch is somebody that uses evil power to torment, afflict or bewitch. Gal.3:1. 1Sam.28:7-19. To make others subject by force or threaten. Suffer not a witch to live.
INCONCLUSION: Idolatry and witchcrafts reduce personality. It is only God that we must serve and worship.

THE EXPECTATION OF GOD OVER CHILDREN
THE MANIFESTATION OF THE FLESH (1V}
INTRODUCTION: When you have bad feeling against your friend is an indication of the works of the flesh. Hatred is a very strong feeling of dislike for somebody or something. Is the foundation or source that makes people to fight when it grows up and it is expressed in action. Pro 29: 11. Hatred is an act of fighting people in your mind and the sighs you can notice in your action are: malice stubborn, hatred, rebellion and slander etc. hatred and fighting goes together when hatred grow beyond control, it makes one to be a murderer. 1JH 3: 15 – 19
HOW HATRED MANIFESTS
1. When our works is rejected Gen 4: 3 – 8.
2. When younger is promoted above the elder. Gen 37: 3- 12.
3. When you command respect. Esther 3: 1-7.
How we can overcome hatred Matt 5: 43- 48.
FIGHTING:
Contention, anger, and wrath promote and permit fight against our fellow. The essence of fight is to defeat another we should fight but not with physical weapon and we are not contending with flesh and blood. 2Cor 10: 3-6, Eph 6: 10-14. Those that fight shows that they are not of God but enemy of God. Heb 12: 12-15. God commanded us not to permit wrath nor fight James 1: 18-20. Fighting is a sigh of lust that work in the flesh. James 4: 1-6.
INCONCLUSION: Hatred and fighting is a sigh of being a servant of sin. He or she that cannot control himself is a slave and such will bring shame to the name of the Lord. Let us pray.

sin. Rom. 8:1-4. The wonderful news is that Jesus enters into grave and took
hold of the key of death. Now he possessed the keys of life and death in His
hands. Rev. 1:18. Let’s look at this wonderful love and embrace Him. The
measurement of his love can be seen in John 3:16; 1John 3:1-2; John 20: 11-17.

makes us His wonderful children and not a sinner again. Let us pray.

according to our needs and His plan in other to give us peace.

can be nothing in this world that can satisfy man’s desire, except God and God
alone.

is why He gave us Jesus Christ, so that when you have Jesus you have every good
thing you could ever desire. Lack of contentment lead to many other sins, such
as: Murder, Covetousness’, Adultery, Deceit, stealing e.t.c. God commanded us
to be contented with what we have, trusting that He will take care of all our

CONTENTMENT PART II
Introduction: - No man can have everything. What so
ever a man has today, others will have something better than that tomorrow,
because the world is advancing daily.
If you
covet what another person has, it will make you ungodly. What God expect form you as Children is to
look unto Him to supply all that you will need. Many run after the things of
this world and they became enemy of God as a result.1 John 2: 15-17.
If our parents cannot afford to give us some
things that we need, can’t we pray to God about it and never complain or
disobey them? We have some that are
contented in the Bible let’s study them:
- Moses in Jethro’s house. Ex 2: 15-22
- Daniel in Babylon. Dan.1:5-19

contentment, it has reward in this present world and world to come, this is the

things that we need, can’t we pray to God about it and never complain or
disobey them? We have some that are
contented in the Bible let’s study them:
- Moses in Jethro’s house. Ex 2: 15-22
- Daniel in Babylon. Dan.1:5-19
In conclusion: - There are tremendous gains in
contentment, it has reward in this present world and world to come, this is the
pattern of correct Christian living. Phil. 4:12-13. Let us pray.

INSTRUCTIONS PART I
Introduction:
God has given a child to his or her parent to be
taken care for Him. Exodus 2:8-10 Therefore, all parent are going to give
account of his or her children to God who is the owner of that child, that is
why your parent will handle you the way he or she has been handling you, so
that he or she will not be guilty before God at the end. Prov. 23:13-14
God give honor to what we call
parental instruction and he always want parent to instruct their children on
the way they should go, in other for them not to go astray. Prov. 22:6 he
always want children also to obey the instruction of their parent and not to go
out of it at all Prov.7:1-3
From all we have red above; we
can now see clearly that any child that did not obey his or her parent can not
enjoy the mercy of God.
In Conclusion: If you want to become great
and get to the top in your education you must obey both Spiritual and
Biological parent in all things. Let us pray.

that we must be happy when our parent are correcting us, it is because they

ancient boundary, that is, things we can do and things we must not do as a
child of God, where we can go and where we cannot go. Bible said “which your
fathers have set”
That means it was your fathers that set it, it may be your God, your
parent, your church leaders. What God is
saying is that you must not remove it, you must exchange it, you must not do
what you want, but that one that your fathers had set.
In Conclusion: You
must not follow your own will, but you are to follow the word of God. Let us
pray.
